I decided to give Darkhawk a little shot at cute-ification! Here are two commissions for chibi Darkhawks for fun and to shake things up a little. The one on the left is by Bernadette Chalke (DeviantArt Gallery) and the one on the right is by Crystal Foronda (DeviantArt Gallery). Chibis are pretty prolific nowadays due to the Japanese influence on mainstream television. There’s something fun, light-hearted and whimsical about characters done in this style, so it’s just a blast to see artists create an interpretation of Darkhawk in the style.

Both of these versions are slick and huge-able; Bernadette’s slick version seems like an aerodynamic space worthy version of Darkhawk; Crystal gives us a ninja-like Darkhawk 2.0 armor version with the wrist spikes.

There are two more chibi versions of Darkhawk coming a bit later, I am even playing around with the style myself as I plan to explore a project later when I have more time.
