Thoughts: First thought is of course “awesome” but that should go without saying. Nova brought Darkhawk back into the Marvel forefront in issue #17–at least on the cosmic front. WAR OF KINGS helped ground Darkhawk’s return and establish him further in the cosmic ring orcestrated by Abnett and Lanning.

This post-War of Kings story brings together two characters who have been team-mates and friends. The responsibility behind being Nova Prime is sure to make this tale intriguing and filled with great exchanges, in words as well as blows and force-blasts, between the two allies.

It’s obvious this will end in a stalemate. Darkhawk isn’t behind the crime he’s being hunted down for. It’s a misunderstanding that’ll be cleared up cleanly when the proto-typical “hero fight scene” plays out for the crowd. It’ll be nice to see the D&A Dream-Team fully draw Darkhawk into their fold!
