I’ve recently moved to trades so it sucks that sometimes these previews give some special stuff away. In Nova #33 it seems Namorita is back in the Marvel Universe–wasn’t she suppose to be dead?!–and another part of the old New Warriors is in play. Now if only they could retcon poor Speedball back to the lovable goofball of old.
Having surprises like this ruined for me is the price I pay fo0r making a stand against single issue prices (especial from Marvel).
Page 7 makes me wonder why Darkhawk used his wing instead of calling on a darkforce shield like the old days… I mean, instead Nova calls upon a similar shield instead. Just a nit-pick.

That’s gotta be a time travel story. Black Bolt’s also dead. I’d have thought it was from the old Nova series but Nova’s costume’s up to date…
This is the current Nova series, post-War of Kings. Blackbolt definitely “died” in WofK, but as with comics in general, that should never have been presumed to be permanent

It’s nice to see Chris getting some love, (like Tigra did) but all these rewinds and retcons really bug me. I mean now DH is a Shiar weapon? What about the entire Intergalactic crime boss who mad 7 amulats to make his own army…Evilhawk, remember him? It’s kind of sadening to see a entire comic line and 50+ issues just unmade. At least with Tigra they kept true to her being magical not another mutant.
