There are two classic Mike Manley penciled 11×17 pages on Ebay. These pages are listed by the-monsterman… Mike Manley himself folks. Manley’s words in the listings:

I don’t sell much of my DH work, so this is a rare chance to buy a page. I never deal with any art dealers so you can buy art only from me.

As much as I’d love to own these, I just have my funds committed to my own comic projects right now. A tear rolls down my cheek for passing these up but I might as well warn the other DH fans out there! They are set to $20 starting bid with $35 for International shipping. It’s on a “reserve not met” status which likely means Mike Manley ain’t letting go of these at such great rates (lets face it… even $55 for an original Manley Darkhawk page is pretty darn cheap).

The first page–page 15 from Darkhawk #6–is from when Darkhawk teamed up with Captain America and Daredevil and battled the U-Foes for the first time. The U-Foes are coming for Charles Littlesky (Portal) who is in the hospital that issue. Ah, good memories…

The second–page 27 of Darkhawk #11–is from the “Heart of the Hawk” storyline when Tombstone pulls out Darkhawk’s amulet and leaves his consciousness stuck in the android armor. I remember this storyline being the first, in my early comic book years, where I just couldn’t wait for the next issue. It was probably at this point when the hardcore fanboy committed to buckethead for the long haul.
