This page is dedicated to recording info on all the alternate versions of Darkhawk that have appeared in the Marvel Universe. The entries are listed in the sequence that they appeared on the comic book shelves. If anyone out there comes across new information about other alternate Darkhawk appearances, please contact me so that I can update the list below.

Darkhawk-616

Earth-616 – Modern Continuity Marvel Universe

This is the modern continuity Darkhawk. He started as a teenage hero based out of Queens, joined several teams–New Warriors, West Coast Avengers, Secret Defenders, Loners–and eventually took off to the stars to explore his cosmic roots. The 616 Darkhawk entity is more appropriately named “Talon” and is part of a secret intergalactic organization that has been dormant (inactive) for thousands of years. It is seeing some activity since the War of Kings event and the appearance of a second Darkhawk by the name of Talon.

Darkhawk-Chronopolis

Earth-928 – Marvel 2099 Universe (CLEARING UP CONTINUITY)

In this reality, people and villains alike both respect and fear “The Powell” or “Darkhawk The Powell”. It was at first thought throughout the ongoing series letter columns (and some places online) that this was in fact the Marvel 2099 Universe. Near the end of the ongoing series, in the letter columns, Tom DeFalco cleared up that it was not the 2099 Universe, only a similar world contained within Chronopolis. (Yes I read all the letter columns again)

Appearances:

  • Darkhawk #28 (June 1993)

Darkhawk-Falconer

Earth-398 – Morgan Le Fey Reality Warp

In this alternate reality created by Mrgan Le Fey, she is the Queen of a medieval-like world and is served by a group of cohorts going by the group name, Queen’s Vengence. This Darkhawk was altered by the reality-warping ray was refered to as Falconer, not as Darkhawk, and took on the appearance of a knight in dark armor.

Appearances:

  • Avengers (Vol. 2) #2, #3 (Mar-Apr 1998)

Darkhawk-Guyver

Earth-112001 – War Machine Maxiverse

This alternate reality Darkhawk was a psychotically deranged alien-armor-being that was re-activated by US War Machine and his team. A virtual reality program was used to maintain control over the entity–the events of the simulation actually re-inacted events of Earth-616 Darkhawk’s time with the West Coast Avengers.

Appearances:

  • U.S. War Machine #9, #10, #11, #12 (January 2002)

Darkhawk-Losers

Earth-6215 – Future Reality of the League of Losers

The time-travelling villain Chronok comes back in time to kill almost every superhero recorded in history logs. A band of C-List heroes–seemingly ignored by the time tyrant–band together and head to the future where Chris Powell, as Darkhawk, leads the team and succeeds in defeating Chronok at the sacrifice of never being able to return to their time (presumably).

Appearances:

  • Marvel Team-Up (Vol. 3) #15, #16, #17, #18 (Feb-May 2006)
  • Deadpool/GLI Summer Fun Spectacular (Sept 2007)

Darkhawk-Zombies

Earth-2149 – Zombieverse

In the zombified alternate reality of the Marvel Universe where the world has been infected by a zombie plague that even affected the super-powered beings, this version of Darkhawk was seen at a meeting organized by Nick Fury on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier.

Appearances:

  • Marvel Zombies: Dead Days #1 (July 2007)

Darkhawk-HouseofM

Earth-58163 – House of M Reality

This Darkhawk was a member of Wolfpack, a group of teenage humans who have banded together to protect Sapien Town. They share the name of 616-Earth “Wolfpack” but are more comparable to The New Warriors.

Appearances:

  • House of M: Avengers #3, #4 (Feb-Mar 2008)
